- REQUIREMENTS
- It must be 51% black-owned (as per the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act of 2003).
- It must have been operating for at least two years.
- You business must offer services that are needed in the property industry (e.g. cleaning, plumbing, construction etc.)
- You must be able to provide us with references and prior contracts of work.
- You must prove that your business has the potential to grow and become a success.
- You must not currently be on another incubation programme.

Your business must meet all of the following requirements.
The application process starts with completing this application form. In support of your application, please provide the Property Point team with the following supporting documents:
- An updated company profile
- Your BEE Certificate
- A Tax Clearance Certificate
Application Criteria
- Your enterprise must be at least 51% black owned according to the BBBEE Act of 2003.
- Provide services in the property sector (including construction, cleaning, security, landscaping, air-conditioning, pest control, electrical services, plumbing services, fire services, waste management etc.)
- It must have been operating for at least two consecutive years
- Your business must be able to provide a track record of work completed, including references.
- You must be based in or around the Johannesburg area.
- Your enterprise should reflect an annual turnover of at least R 500k.
Should you not be contacted within 3 weeks of applying, please consider your application unsuccessful for this round of selections. You will, however be kept on our database for future consideration.
How long is the programme
Our comprehensive incubation programme lasts for two years.
What is the program all about? What does it cover?
Our programme is all about taking SMEs to new heights by providing entrepreneurs with the skills, training and personal development support they need to develop their enterprises into fully independent companies.
Is it only classroom training?
We pride ourselves in going beyond traditional classroom training to provide a range of unique learning opportunities including one-on-one sessions, mentorship, coaching, practical skills development and training.
Is there a fee?
Yes, the commitment fee is R 6,000 If you are selected onto the programme, you will be required to pay R 2,500 upfront, and the other half six months later. This money will be awarded to the best performing business after the two year incubation period is completed. We closely monitor each SME throughout the incubation period, ensuring you persevere until you reach your goals.
How do I get into Growpoint's vendor list?
Unfortunately Property Point does not assist with this process. You can contact with Growthpoint’s procurement department directly for more information on how to go about this.
Differences between Growthpoint's vendor list?
Growthpoint Properties is the largest South African property company listed on the JSE. Growthpoint owns and manages a portfolio of properties. Property Point is the enterprise and supplier development programme established by Growthpoint. Property Point assists and develops SMEs operating in South Africa’s property sector.
Differences between Growthpoint and Property Point?
In addition to becoming fully independent enterprises with greater access to procurement opportunities, graduate businesses are given the opportunity to join the Property Point Elite Alumni Programme.
What happens after a business graduates?
There are specific times when applications are open throughout the year and the entire process can take up to three months.
